Yarn Wall Hanging

Yarn Wall Hanging

As I've mentioned before, I am trying to inject some much needed colour into my art room which I painted white recently. I have already created a cool and super easy triangle art piece (check out the post here) to grace my lovely painted walls but of course I couldn't stop there, so now I've added this funky 'Yarn Wall Hanging'.

Supplies
A branch
Yarn
Scissors

Yarn Wall Hanging

Time taken: about 30 minutes

What to do
Take a branch from a tree or bush and trim it down to the size that you want. I used one from a set of Easter branches that I kept after the holiday for crafts such as these. Remove any unwanted twigs for a more streamlined look.

Choose the yarn you want to use and attach them to the branch by tying them on with a double knot. Proceed with the next color and continue until you have reached the desired amount.

Yarn Wall Hanging

Connect a length of yarn to each end of the branch to create a thread that you can hang it from. Hang it on a hook or nail so that you can see in which way you want the yarn to hang and then trim the bottom of the yarn with the scissors to create any shape you want. I chose an angled slanted shape.
Pop it on the wall and you're done.

Have fun making your own, bye!
